Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), a state government-owned institution situated in Benue, serves as a training center for clinical students from Benue State University, Makurdi. In early 2024, the Benue State Government initiated a collaboration between BSUTH and Shanghai Haitian Hospital, establishing an exchange program aimed at enhancing the clinical expertise and academic development of medical students at Benue State University, Makurdi.
